Our Story
HASTO was founded with a clear, singular vision: to challenge the conventions of high fashion. We noticed a disconnect between luxury garments—which carried exorbitant, artificially inflated price tags—and affordable clothing, which often sacrificed tailoring, fit, and material durability.
Operating directly out of our design studios, we bypassed middleman fees and traditional retail markup structures. This allows us to source premium materials—like fine Japanese denim, organic linens, and long-staple Indian cotton—and put them in the hands of seasoned local artisans.
What began as a capsule collection of structured linen shirts has matured into a comprehensive, multi-seasonal label catering to men, women, and children who value clean lines, visual balance, and longevity.
Our Philosophy
We believe that a garment is more than just fabric—it is a structure that influences how you move and present yourself to the world. That is why we prioritize architectural tailoring. We design silhouettes that flatter naturally, draping gracefully without the need for restrictive fits.
Our aesthetic is anchored in minimalist sophistication: subtle earth tones, functional pockets, reinforced stitching, and timeless shapes that transcend quick-shifting micro-trends.
Every design is wear-tested for weeks before production to evaluate pocket placements, collar stiffness, and seam strength across multiple washes, ensuring it stands the test of time.

Timeless Custom Tailoring
Every seasonal drop from our atelier is designed with versatility in mind. We build garments that are modular—easy to layer, transition from office to leisure, and suit varied climates.
Zero Waste Patterning: We lay out templates to minimize material scraps, ensuring we use over 98% of all raw fabrics.
Handcrafted Finishing: Detail work like custom wooden buttons and hand-sewn buttonholes add an artisanal soul to our modern clothing.
Artisan Partnership Program
We believe the true guardians of luxury are the generational handloom weavers and tailoring clusters across India. HASTO partners with craft cooperatives directly, providing them with continuous, year-round income and design tooling.
By combining our contemporary patterns with their time-tested weaving methods (such as double-warp Ikats and hand-spun Khadi cottons), we create unique garments that tell a story of global heritage.
